Bullet

9 August 2006 - Bullet still has a limp. He puts a little weight on his paw but still limpy.

8 August 2006 - Picked up the Bullet after supper and tried to stretch his leg out. He gave a little "meep" but did not struggle. His trip to the doctor did not reveal anything in the x-ray. The scap is pretty well gone now. The doctor commented that he was loosing muscle mass because he was not using his leg.

6 August 2006 last of the pills. Still limpy.

5 August Bullet is in at night. I expected that he would be not coming in. He comes in and stays downstairs since my wife allows him to. No messes so I guess things are ok.

2 August 2006 - My wife is home. Bullet will be able to convince her that he should go outside even though he is not done with his pills.

31 July 2006 - Bullet has been inside. I think he is getting cabin fever. Still taking the tablets. He is a sweet cat. I tell him he cannot go outside to play until his limp is better. It is still an ugly looking hole by the inside of his elbow.

26 July 2006 - Bullet came in at supper time with a limp. I gave him an all-over-pat-down but failed to discover the sensitive spot. I decided, since my wife is away, that I would take him in to the vet on Thursday for a check-up. I kept him in the bedroom overnight. He was still limping in the morning so I took him in.

The vet said that she did not see anything and would keep him overnight. The next day, they discovered an abcess, drained it, and started him on Clavamox. He was to get pills bid (twice a day for 10 days. He would need to stay inside.

11 June 2006 - Bullet had a baby rabbit last night. It was crying out in a pitiful way. Harry and Lorenzo went to see what the commotion was about.
