I keep a reasonably current log of my projects. Also some miscellaneous notes

I like to build models of small boats. Pictures of the results.I have been tying knots and using knots for making jewelry. A few notes on the Ashley Book of Knots.

I like to read. I have a list of some of the books I like.

Cats, cats, cats.

Not everyone has high-speed connections. I have tried to thumbnail the pictures to keep them small and indicate the size of the picture that you get if you click.

One of the things mentioned in the log is that I taught my self C using a book by Tony Zhang called Teach Yourself C in 24 Hours. I made a few notes as I went a long. This may be helpful to someone who picked up this book but is using Linux instead of Windows.

The only reason I run Windows at home anymore is Microsoft Flight Simulator.

With the Century of Flight package, I flew the Spirit of Saint Louis to Paris

I created a series of flights and a little documentation based on Flight of Passage by Rinker Buck.

My day job is managing a group of systems programmers for z/Os, CICS and IMS transaction systems, and Storage Managment for EDS. We support a grocery company that has outsourced its IT function. You can find out about my experience by reading my resume.
